Victim Assistance Program

Since, 1972, Victim Assistance Program (VAP) has been dedicated to assure that no victim is alone. VAP is a non-profit organization providing free and confidential services to approximately 20,000 victims of crime each year in Summit County. We are the only crime victim organization in Summit County that does not discriminate by crime type. In fact, we are the only program that is on scene at homicides, suicides, traffic fatalities and death notifications and continue our advocacy through the crminal justice process and beyond.

The Mardi Gras Gala is Victim Assistance Program's major fundraising event. Your much needed support will provide crisis invervention, counseling and court advocacy to those that become victims of senseless acts of violence.
